Identity
Bridging digital and physical worlds to help new streamers find their voice.
Live Streaming
Faceless livestreaming is rapidly evolving from niche entertainment into a mainstream creator space. Instead of appearing on camera, creators use digital avatars to interact with audiences, offering anonymity, emotional expression, and creative freedom. In 2024, VTuber Ironmouse became the second most-watched streamer on Twitch, signaling how quickly this shift is accelerating. Although faceless streaming provides privacy and flexible identity expression, it also introduces challenges, especially for newcomers who struggle with avatar creation, technical setup, and managing multiple platforms. Avaware addresses these barriers by making faceless streaming more accessible, seamless, and expressive for emerging creators.
Create your personal AI Avatar
Begin your journey by creating the avatar. Powered by AI, enter a prompt that captures the look, style, or vibe you’re imagining. The system will generate an initial avatar, and you can fine-tune every detail to match your identity.
Streaming workflow
Start your stream directly in Aaware with a built-in streaming and recording platform that connects seamlessly to major streaming sites. Customize how you appear on camera through different avatars or virtual backgrounds. And when you need a break, let AI take over your avatar and keep your audience engaged.
Hardware
Avaware uses a set of head, arm, and clip sensors to track your movement with precision.
Compared with camera-only systems, dedicated physical sensors provide stronger privacy protection and greater mobility, preventing accidental face exposure and avoiding unwanted detection or interference from other Avaware users.
On the go
One major challenge faceless live-streamers face is the inability to stream away from their setup. With Avaware, this limitation disappears — you can leave your computer behind and stream directly from your phone while still using your avatar. As IRL streaming grows in popularity, our goal is to empower faceless streamers with the same mobility and flexibility that any other streamer enjoys.
The Avaware app also supports managing short-form content created with your avatar, making it effortless to capture clips, turn them into reels or TikToks, and upload them across social platforms.
Design Process
Started with low-fidelity wireframes to test core interaction flows and quickly validate functionality. Insights from rapid user walkthroughs shaped the high-fidelity interface, refining hierarchy, component behavior, and the overall streaming experience.
